inCreative reading is a newly created term in the field of curriculum and methodology for teaching English as a second or a foreign language TESL /TEFL. Unlike the old view of linguists and researchers, who viewed reading as a receptive skill, I have recently implemented a research for the Masters degree and it has been proved that reading could be a productive skill. Students were able to read the text, understand it, analyse, criticise, and create new ideas as well. Creative reading means reading the lines, reading between the lines, and reading beyond the lines ;creative readers are those readers who could recall their background knowledge while reading, combine it with what they are reading, and create new ideas that are unique, genuine and authentic.
